The Units > Terran Units
The Terrans have biological infantry units and mechanical units. Biological units can be healed by Medics, the mechanical units can be repaired by SCVs. Most Terran Units need a solid micro to be controlled.

The Terran Space Construction Vehicle - in short SCV - does only very little damage. It's mostly used to repair mechanical units or protect ranged units against incoming melee fighters.


Kill Score: 100
The Terran Marine is a cheap all-round unit and a common choice vs both ground and air units. Together with some Medics and the use of Stim Pack, they will deal with most of the other ranged units.

The Terran Firebat is a cheap unit and especially effective vs small melee units as Zerglings or Zealots. The Flames will also quickly kill the Nexus shield. Placed at the enemy spawn area and supported by some Medics they can be a devestating threat due to their splash damage. Very little damage vs mechanical units.


Kill Score: 200
The Terran Ghost is very effective vs small units and kinda useless vs large ones. Use the Cloaking ability to snipe special units like High Templars. The Lockdown can also be very important especially vs hero units. Will go down quickly especially vs Vultures.


Kill Score: 350
The Terran Medic is a very important unit. Besides the fact that it heals your and your teammates wounded units, it has some more abilities rarely used. Use Optical Flare to blind enemy units. This can be very annoying when used on Reavers or other ranged units. Perfect use vs detecting units and especially heroes. For instance a blind Science Vessel can easily be hunt down by cloaked Wraiths. Restoration is an essential spell and always beneficial. You will share this opinion once you lost your hero because of the absence of a Medic among your teams forces.


Kill Score: 250
The Terran Vulture is only effective vs small and especially melee units. With some basic micro you will be able to handle most of the melee fighters without being damaged too much. The Spider Mines are very dangerous, especially when planted at the enemy spawn area. Even if experienced players choose non-triggering units they are limited to these until the mines are detected or some cheap units are sacrificed.


Kill Score: 150
The Terran Siege Tank alone isnt too threatening because both small and melee units will kill it easily. Supported and in Siege Mode it will show you its real power. This can also be useful for defence. Especially in front of or dropped behind the enemy spawn area Siege Tanks are a devestating force and will seriously damage the Nexus.


Kill Score: 700
The long ranged anti-air missiles of the Terran Goliath are a real nightmare to all air units and will especially take down Shuttles and Dropships in a second. The ground damage is nothing special but still solid.


Kill Score: 400
The Terran Wraith is a hunter and no fighter. Once cloaked it will be a serious threat for all air units - better dont bother about the ground damage, it's very low. However, as soon as the Wraith is detected or out of energy it will die before you can say Jim Raynor.


Kill Score: 800
The Terran Dropship can transport between 2 and 8 units depending on their size. Since it's not too well armored and can be locked down, you might either want to support it or sneak up from the sides.


Kill Score: 600
The Terran Battlecruiser is a very powerful but at the same time very expensive unit. Supported it's a though enemy for both ground and air units. Due to its Yamato Cannon it's also a deadly hero killer and a real threat for the enemy Nexus. Especially vulnerable to Lockdown. Use high ground or well balanced support to avoid focus fire.


Kill Score: 2400
The Terran Valkyrie can not harm any ground unit. Besides that it's a powerful anti-air support unit due to its explosive 8-missile attack.
