The original Team Micro Arena map wasn't created by us. When the whole clan thing started, we chose the map Team Micro Arena Legends 2.7 as the basic map and started to modify it. It was a long way to the current version and there were many obstacles we had to overcome. Unit selections and stats changed, new heroes were created and balanced. Many bugs had to be corrected, for instance the Nexus wasn't always given to the next player of a team when one player leaves the game. This way the game still goes on and all triggers still work. There also were three completely different version, but none of them was adopted by the players. After the last try of a very new version, it was obvious that we had to stick closer to the original TMA Legends map. Check out the Clan Story if you wanna read more.
By now several different versions exist, each one featuring new components, units and stats. We try to bring perfect balance to the gameplay in every new version of the map and are also absolutely open-minded to new suggestions. Here is an overview of the development of the Team Micro Arena Legends map from the beginning to the newest version in reversed chronological order. All versions as well as some other common TMA maps can be downloaded in the Download Section.
VeNoM changed stats, created new heroes, pimped the presentation and created two new terrain sets. The upper part of the map was rebuild symmetrically and an Observer slot was added.
Karas changed stats, created new heroes (the Hero Killer and others) and changed the units names as well as the presentation and invented the secret combos.
Cam changed unit positions, unit stats, colors and fixed many bugs.
This was the basic map for our modifications. It already features air suicide and the basic unit selections.
This one shows the very basic map setting and is one of the first TMA maps.
